We are now into the summer months. Schools have let out, children
are home, and life is getting a little more busy for mothers. This
is a time of the year when mothers will need to be creative in order
to find opportunities to include exercise into their daily lives.
Everyone needs to find
ways to schedule their exercise at cooler times of the day, if they
exercise outdoors. They also have to take into account that there
could be frequent afternoon showers or the temperatures can be in
the high 80s and 90s.
If either is a problem
for you, figure out how much exercise you need to feel good and/or
to lose weight. Ask others how they handle this situation. Do a
search online to find other's exercise strategies for either exercising
in warm climates and/or fitting exercise when having children underfoot
all day.
It may take a little
more planning, but it can be done! If you don't have anyone you
can ask, you can join a mailing list or message board online with
other people who are in the same situation. I invite you to join

Weight
Loss: Develop Your Patience

What does
it feel like when your weight isn't reducing as quickly as you
would like? I imagine it feels frustrating. I bet you even experience
a sense of failure on your part.
Most of
us want to lose weight quickly, perhaps by tomorrow, even though
we know that realistically this won't happen. Because we want
the weight loss to happen much more quickly than it's going to,
we put undue pressure on ourselves.
We want
to achieve more in a shorter space of time. This is because your
expectations are too high and generally not achievable. When these
expectations aren't reached, you feel disappointed.
I've found
that the inability to handle this disappointment is one of the
things which throws people off track. They lose sight of the goal
they're looking to achieve. Setting these high expectations and
then not reaching them, is like setting yourself up for failure.
Setting
your target at a lower, yet achievable level allows for a successful
weight loss. Part of setting lower expectations is for you to
develop your patience. You'll then appreciate weight loss won't
happen overnight and you need to embark on a longer process.
We all
want to see speedy results and there are so many
companies promoting quick fixes for weight loss that it's all
too easy to feel that it can happen quickly. Healthy weight loss
will take some time. The habits which caused you to gain weight,
which you've built up over the years, will take some time to change.
To ensure these changes happen permanently requires patience on
your part.
Generally
we as human beings don't make changes easily or quickly. By developing
your patience you can take some of the pressure off and this allows
you to see that changes do happen over time. Steady, slower progress
tends to achieve results in the long term.
I encourage
you to determine for yourself what having patience means for you.
It may be that you set yourself a goal to handle just one habit
at a time. Perhaps it's discarding one habit which causes weight
gain and replacing it with a healthier habit which promotes weight
loss.
It may
be useful to consider which aspect of losing weight causes you
most pressure and then see what having patience with this will
mean. What reminders can you create for yourself to be patient?
Perhaps it's a sticker on your kitchen wall or your bathroom mirror.
Have the
patience to take your weight loss one day at a time. We live in
an age where we expect most things to happen much more quickly
than they did before.
Although
many things do happen instantly, for instance, communications,
the same cannot be said for weight loss. Weight loss is achievable
when you are patient and work at a more natural pace. The cycle
of spring, summer, autumn and winter still take a complete year!
Weight loss is similar.
I suggest
one of the first steps is to accept that weight loss will take
some time. Then, I encourage you to set some realistic goals and
time scales for yourself. Most things in life which are worth
having take time. Feeling healthy and fit is worth the commitment
but you must be patient along the way.
What I
want for you is to be patient and take steady, measured steps
towards your weight loss.

You
Hungry & Tryin' to Lose Weight?

Understanding how we have
tried to lose weight in the past, and now applying something a bit
different, because all of those ways apparently did not work, at
least not for long, is what we are now teaching ourselves in applying
an under- standing of energy, frequency and vibration. And No, those
are not new terms for carbs, fats and protein!
From an energy level,
a vibration level....(vibration as in language to the Universe,
as in our radio frequency to bring us our desires), we have been
taught sacrifice and hunger are simply how it is in losing weight.
NOPE!
Sacrifice and hunger
are both LACK feelings and emotions. Emotions of lack contain history
of lack things we may have experienced previously in our lives.
We always create from the present, so if we are going backwards
in lack emotions, then we are mis-creating our body image. ie: not
getting what we want.
There is no reason to
be hungry or to sacrifice anything as we bring our desired body
image to us. What we will be doing is vibrating a radio frequency
of someone that has, for instance a size 9 body image. What that
means is, someone with a radio station on Size 9 only attracts those
events, and circum- stances into their lives that help to bring
them size 9. We will AUTOMATICALLY , not eat , nor desire to eat
foods that contradicts that in our own mind.
Then One Day, we reach
the point, where it does not matter in our own mind what we eat.....all
roads lead to size 9 !
Personal example: One
weekend recently, I was creating lots of writing stuff, outlines,
& proposals. I choose to do this in a fun manner. I ate potato
chips and dip and junk all weekend long !
These were easy and portable
foods, no care about fixing stuff, it's what was going to give me
fuel for the weekend in a fun way, which did not distract from what
I was intending to get done. It has nothing to do with protein,
fat, or gaining weight, or will I or won't I gain weight from eating,
this way, it's about fun for me, and that is it !
Also, as I have taken
myself through this process, I have an "automatic" 2-day
shut off valve. I absolutely know, that I will only eat this way
for 2 days, and then I go back to regular foods that I enjoy, that
I enjoy, that I enjoy, ENJOY !!
I have tuned myself to
a size 9 frequency. Period. And I absolutely know it.
So, if you are having
thoughts in your imagination of foods you can't have, if you are
thinking you are hungry and craving, and you try and fight that
off, your mind goes to lack stuff. It will NOT bring you your desired
body image.
If you do, through sure
willpower have it work for you in this way, it wears off. You simply
have applied negative energy long enough to bring you something.
But please know.......positive,
soft, gentle energy is so much more powerful and is natural to us
as a Spirit person clothed in flesh. So eventually , we will face
this tug of war with ourselves again.
Bottom Line: Tune in
your heart and mind to the frequency that you want? OK? OK!
